New community fridge at Kingwoods center!

Community fridges have been popping up all over the tri state area in the last few years. New York City being the main location to start up a few and Philadelphians taking charge in establishing many among the city now comes a place for one right in Wilmington Delaware! On the north side of town actually right behind FFFA’s recently food distribution location (Masjid al kauthar) is kingswood community center housing the first community fridge of Wilmington run by Plant for good! What an amazing initiative to eradicate hunger and food quality apartheid. They stick up the fridge with quality items like “organic” and “natural” being read on the label. People in need can access the fridge in need without judgement and may also replace items with more food they bring to show solidarity with other folks needing food.
